Sylvia Lavonne Lewis

Sylvia Lavonne Lewis, age 82, of Avon Park, FL, formally of Cambridge Springs, PA, passed away on April 11, 2022. She was born on May 26, 1939 in Erie, PA to Red Moffat and Verda C. Wykoff. Ms. Lewis was employed by Erie Times News as a newspaper dispatcher for Cambridge Springs for many years. She was also an Avon Distributor and dispatcher for Northwestern Rural Electric. When she retired, Ms. Lewis moved to Florida where she enjoyed bowling, gardening, and her Sheltie dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband – Jerry L. Lewis; and daughter – Mary L. Hudy. She is survived by three of her four children – David Lewis (Cathy), Eric Lewis (Sheila), and Beth DeBree (Joe); 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; and 1 great granddaughter.
