Suzanne Nicole John, born May 26, 1984, in Lakeland, Florida, passed away on November 2, 2026.
Nicky graduated from Sebring High School in 2002 and went on to earn an Associate in Arts degree. She dedicated her professional life to cosmetology, building a career as a talented hairstylist that spanned more than two decades. Most recently, she began a new chapter as an instructor and program manager for the cosmetology program at South Florida State College, sharing her experience and passion for the profession with the next generation of hairstylists.
Being a mother was Nicky’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Her children were the center of her world, and she cherished the love and happiness they brought into her life. Above all, she treasured the time they spent together and the memories they made as a family.
Outside of her work, Nicky found joy in spending time at the beach, boating, and spending time outdoors with her loved ones. These simple pleasures marked a life of appreciation for beauty, freedom, and peace amongst nature.
She is survived by her loving children: Houston John, Hagen John, Hartt John, and Winsley Leonard, each of whom held a cherished place in her heart. She is also survived by her mother, Susan Croy; her stepfather, Kenneth Croy; her brother, Roy Chambers, Jr.; and her sister, Karrie Dudek. Nicky was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Chambers, and her grandparents.
A Memorial service for Suzanne John will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 2pm with a visitation with the family beginning at 1pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, 4001 Sebring Parkway, Sebring, Florida.
