Susan Lynn Woods

Susan Lynn Woods, 48, or Sebring, FL received her wings on Sunday, August 27th, at 2:54 am, with her loved ones by her side.  Susan was born to her Mother Shelley Higgins, and her biological Father, Donald Arcamone on February 9th, 1969, in Trenton, NJ.  Susan Proudly served as an Officer of the Department of Corrections for many years. She was passionate about her children and grandchildren, gardening, nature, and her sweet rescue puppy Annabelle.  Susan was survived by the love of her life Jim Ward, of Lake Wales, FL: her two children, Michael Woods, Sebring, FL and Maegan Woods, of Sebring, FL: her two beautiful grandchildren: Kaylyyn Woods and Wyatt Woods. She was also survived by the best parents a girl could have, her mother Shelley Higgins, of Sebring, FL and her father Thomas Higgins, of Sebring, FL and her 5 siblings; Jeffrey Arcamone, of New Port Richey, FL, Shannon Higgins, Dureya, PA, Debbie Higgins, Ewing, NJ, Thomas Higgins Jr., Palm Bay, FL and Donald Higgins, Palm Bay, FL.  In Susans honor her family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for her family and friends on Saturday, September 2nd, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the American Legion Post 69, 1301 W Bell St. Avon Park, FL 33825.  In Lieu of Flowers a trust will be set up for her Grandchildren whom she adored and was taken from too soon. More information will be available at the Celebration of Life.  To all who knew Susan knew that she loved, laughed, and lived with all her heart. She was a true inspiration and light of joy to everyone. She is now at peace watching over us all. Rest in Peace Sweet Angel.
