Steven Gunnar Sandholm

Steven Gunnar Sandholm passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 75. The son of Sven Harold and Ruth Ann (Mester) Sandholm. He was born on October 7, 1948 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Steve was of Catholic faith and has been coming to Sebring for 15 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S Army Reserves from 1967- 1977, during the Vietnam conflict. Steven’s hobbies included golf and fishing. He enjoyed restoring his 57 Corvette and was known as “MacGyver” or “Mr. Fix It”. He was a member of the Elks Club, Casino Club, Snowmobile Club, and the Great Lake Seniors Golf Club. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Jane (Zbikowski) of Byron Center, MI; daughter, Sandra “Sandy” Moore (Jimmy) of Byron Center, MI; Steven Gunnar Sandholm (Meghan) of Byron Center, MI; sister, Karen Irvine (Doug) of Grand Rapids, MI. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Tia, Brayden, Mattie, Zeke and Kinsley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
