Steven Edwin Safrans

Steven Edwin Safrans, age 71, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on January 29, 1945 in Canandaigua, New York to the late Howard and Doris (Flinn) Safrans.  Steven was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army; he moved to Sebring in 1985 from Broward County and attended Unity Church of Sebring.  Favorite past-times included working with plants and animals.  Steven is survived by his children: Troy Kershaw and Sheri Marshall, sister: Mary Safrans, grandchildren: Brandi Bennett; Lauryn Marshall, niece: Dawn Wilkes and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Vesta Safrans.  There will be a memorial service on April 16, 2016, 2:00 p.m., at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastor Andy Conyer officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m.
