Lare , Stephen R., age 64, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Avon Park, FL. He was born on October 25, 1951 in Reading, PA to the late Allen J. and Vivien (Linton) Lare. Stephen had been a resident of Highlands County since 1978 having come from NY. He served in the U.S. Marines and later owned and operated his own business. Stephen is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Green of Tampa, FL; sisters: Susan Goulette of Avon Park, FL; Diane Roberts of St. James City, FL; brother: Allen J. Lare, Jr. of Avon Park, FL; grandchildren: Tyler, Matthew, and Jacob. A private memorial service will be held by the family.
