Stephen Paul Bowers

Stephen Paul Bowers passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 74. The son of Paul Hammer Bowers and Lillian Faith (Sherman) Bowers. He was born on February 17, 1949 in Washington, DC. Stephen worked as a department manager in the retail food industry and had been a resident of Sebring since 2019, having come from Haymarket, Virginia. Stephen proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam conflict and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed listening to Margaritaville music, Bob Dylan and loved his 55 Chevy Bel Air. Stephen was of Episcopalian faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie - Elisabeth; son, Michael Paul Bowers (Nicole) of Wake Forest, NC; daughters, Anne-Marie Lewin of Sebring, FL; Jill Veronique Dunn (Wesley) of Leesburg, VA; Michelle Weaver (Clint) of Warrenton, VA. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Camille Jeanne Lewin, and a grandson, Sean Patrick Dunn.
