Stella Wanda Burton

Stella Wanda Burton, age 77, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on April 30, 1937 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Jess and Eliza (Tackett) Hall. Stella has been a resident of Avon Park since 1970 having come from Hartford, MI. She was a member of the Community Bible Church, loved her family, fishing, and garage sales. Stella loved life and her Lord. She is survived by her daughter: Hazel Howard (Roy), sister: Audrey Yvonne Baldridge, grandchildren: Ermie Lambert, Ronnie Lambert, Michael Howard, Robert Roland, Lenny Thomas, Dawn Thomas, Terri Lambert, Katina Roland, Elaine Roland, great-grandchildren: Aaron Roland, Tyler Roland, Jacob Thomas, Dillon Thomas, Morgan Thomas, Stormie Weathers, Michael Lambert, great great-grandchild: Aubrey Weathers, and many nieces and nephews. Stella was preceded in death by her husband: Carlos Burton, her son: James Lambert, her brothers: Harold Hall, Clyde Hall, Robert Hall, and her sisters: Jessie Hunter and Shirley Clements. A graveside service officiated by: Tom Shankweiler will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park, Florida.
