Stanley M. Mckinney

STANLEY M. McKINNEY Stanley M. McKinney, 88, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at his home in Fairway Pines, Sebring. He was born May 13, 1923, to Mark and Edna J. (Hale) McKinney in Louisiana, Missouri, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1973, coming from Miami, FL. He was a Gunnery Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during World War II and the Korean War. He was of the Christian faith and was an avid freshwater fisherman. Mr. McKinney was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, in 2005 and his sister, Frances Brooks. He is survived by two nieces; Carolyn Wertz of Illinois and Patricia Fitzgerald of Illinois; nephew, James Criss of Illinois and his cousin, Jennie Drapalik of Missouri. Inurnment will be at South Florida National Cemetery, along with his wife.
