Stanley Ray Bruning

Stanley Ray Bruning, age 84, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024.  He was born May 7, 1940 in Longmont, Colorado to Frederick W. and Gertrude E. (Bietz) Bruning.  Stanley served in the U.S. Navy, graduated from Rockmont College and then the University of Colorado. After his schooling he served with SIM in the radio ministries for 37 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sebring, and has been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 2016, coming from California.  He is survived by his Wife of 64 years – Martha Ann Bruning of Sebring, FL; Daughters – Jodi Lynn Schmitt (Daniel) of Nixa, MO; Carina Rae Rice (Russell) of Rowlett, TX; Son – Michael Adrian Bruning (Elva) of Austin, TX; Sisters – Virginia Lesser (Dan) of Powell, WY; Sharon Litzenberger of Longmont, CO; Fern Lang of Broomfield, CO; Brothers – Kenneth Bruning (Angela) of Lakewood, CO; Dale Bruning (Cheryl) of Arvada, CO; 12 Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren.
