Sidney E. Gorman, age 94, of Avon Park, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Sebring, FL. Sidney was born to parents Sidney E. Gorman, Sr. and Blanche Irene (Wood) Gorman in Muskegon, MI on September 17, 1925. Sidney was proud to serve in the United States Navy during World War II, earning a Purple Heart. Surviving is his wife Rosemary (Miller) Gorman; daughters April Fischer, El Portal, CA,

Laurie LaMay, Ravenna, MI, and Sherri (Bob) Pavlik, Avon Park, FL; sons Greg “Skip” (Jan) Gorman, Hudsonville, MI, Ronald “Rick” (Marcia) Schoonfield, Muskegon MI, and Tom (Rochelle) Gorman, Fort Collins, CO; 18 Grandchildren and 39 Great Grandchildren. Sidney was preceded in death by both parents’, sisters’ H. Lucille Steinhauer and Marie Church; and Granddaughter Rachel LaMay.
