Shirley J. Burdick

Shirley J. Burdick wife of Robert W. Burdick passed gently unto her Lord on December 1, 2017.  She and her husband resided at The Palms of Sebring. She is survived by her husband; son, Gary L. Burdick of New Town Square, PA; daughter Tina L. Quick, of Winchester, MA, and son, Lann K. Burdick of Camp Hill, PA.   She has 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  As a military wife, she was active teaching children swimming, bowling and coaching Little League Baseball at various Air Force bases around the world. She was Past President of the Sebring Women's Golf Association; a past volunteer of Florida Hospital, and a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine.  Mrs. Burdick was the daughter of Evelyn Effner and Paul Lockwood of Oneonta, N.Y.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 2 pm at The Palms Assisted Living Facility at 725 S Pine St, Sebring, FL. The family suggests that brightly colored clothing would be appropriate attire.
