Shiela Kay Bolan

Shiela Kay Bolan, age 77, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on December 18, 1947, to the late Francis E. and Betty C. (Dowell) Whittington in Independence, Kansas. Shiela was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and had been a resident of Sebring since 2005, coming from New Orleans, LA. She enjoyed golf, puzzles, reading, cooking and traveling. She was a loving wife, resourceful mother and devoted grandmother. She was cherished by her husband, James Bolan; daughter; Gidget Schnieder (Ray) - Baton Rouge, LA; son; Bert Barrois III (Pam) - Belle Chase, LA, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the team of providers at Good Shepherd Hospice for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on June 6, 2025 at St. Rosalie Parish Church in Harvey, Louisiana.
