Sherrill Glenn Brown

Sherrill Glenn Brown, age 54, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on January 12, 1960 in Avon Park, Florida. Sherrill had been a resident of Sebring all his life. He grew up in First Assembly of God Church of Sebring and currently was an active member of Grace Bible Church. Early in life he worked with his family in their automotive sales business. He later was a mechanic with the Highlands County Sheriff's Office for 15 years. He then went to work for Central Florida Yamaha and most recently for Crenshaw Collision. Sherrill is survived by his children: Kasey Painter (Mitchel)-Avon Park, FL; Aaron Brown (Krystal)-Avon Park, FL, two grandchildren: Meeka and Korbin, mother and step-father: Martha and Joe Solis-Auburndale, FL, siblings: Sherrie Dent(Jim)-Sebring, FL; Sheila Brown-Sebring, FL; Robert Brown (Melinda)-Lake Placid, FL He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Glenn Brown. There will be a funeral service on Friday, November 7, 2014 beginning at 11:00am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Reverend Wilmont McCrary and Pastor Jason Hollingsworth officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place immediately following the service on Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Placid, FL.
