Sharon Joyce Maughn

Sharon Joyce Maughn, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on November 15, 1949 to the late Carleton Edgar and Rosamond Ruth (Pinion) in Avon Park, Florida. Sharon was a lifelong resident of Highlands County working for the local telephone company for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her two grandchildren. Survivors include her two daughters, Tracy Goodwin (Samuel)-Sebring, FL and Monica Lavender (Robbie)-Avon Park, FL, two grandchildren, Mariah Alvarez and Samantha Goodwin, both of Sebring, one brother, Earl Cothran-Madison, AL, and two sisters, Carmen Selander (Gary) and Marilyn Cooper, all of Sebring, FL. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Joe Maughn, three brothers and one sister.
