Sara Nell Driggers

Sara N. Driggers, age 75, of Avon Park Florida entered into rest on December 24, 2023. Sara was born on June 25, 1948, to her parents Jimmy Duke Smith and Odessa Osborn in New Brockton, Alabama. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, always showing her family how much she loved and cherished them. Anyone that knew Sara would describe her as resilient, strong, and tough as nails. She had a big heart and loved to have fun. She really enjoyed going mudding on four wheelers and side-by-sides with her family. She truly appreciated the outdoors and loved listening to country music. She was hardworking all her life, always making sure her family was well looked after. She was many things, to many people.

Sara is preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Barnes, and her siblings Bobby Smith and Joyce Estredge.

She is survived by her children Lynn Neff, Mike Crunkelton (Nikki), Brandy Driggers (Aaron), Brothers; Jackie Smith (Tracy), Louis Smith, Sister; Marie Smith, eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Sara touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

A graveside service for Sara Driggers will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. with family receiving friends at 10:00 A.M. all taking place at Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
