Sandra Jean Snyder, 62, of Lake Placid, FL passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at her home. She was born January 20, 1950, to David E. and Lavon (Sitze) Harris in Alton, Illinois, and had been a resident of Lake Placid since 2000, coming from Miami, FL. She was a cook for the public school system; a member of the American Legion in Lake Placid and enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Robert Snyder of Lake Placid; mother, Lavon Harris of Sebring; tow sons; one daughter and eight grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Cornerstone Hospice, 2590 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven, FL 33884.
