Sandra Katherine Shavce, age 64, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Sebring, FL. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 20, 1948 to Charles J. and Sophie Sandra (Katherines) McGlave. She was a Nursing Assistant and worked at Highlands Regional Medical Center and Kenilworth Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was a resident of Sebring since 1996 coming from Easley, SC. She is survived by her sons, William J. Shavce (Charanya) of Leavenworth, KS and Christopher Shavce (Melissa) of Inman, SC and 3 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with W. Mike Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Highlands County Humane Society.
