Sandra G. Littell

Sandra G. Littell, age 79, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born on December 28, 1935 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Edgar and Virgie (Huddleston) Kiser. Sandra graduated with a doctorate in Education from Indiana University. She later graduated from University of Mississippi with a communications degree. She spent her career teaching in Lake Placid, FL for 10 years and Avon Park, FL for 31 years. Sandra loved life, her family, teaching, traveling, building gardens, rock walls and her family dog, "Jack". She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Eminence, Indiana #546, Past Worthy Matron. Sandra is survived by her children, Beverly Branam of Sebring, FL, Michael (Cheryl Ann) Littell of Heltonville, IN, Jacqueline (William) Shields of Martinsville, IN; brothers and sisters, Meryle (Vicki) Kiser, Little River, SC, Rose Creamer, Pahrump, NV, Sharon Kay Blessing (John Hammock), Martinsville, IN, Jerry (Evelyn) Kiser, Camp Creek, WV, Joe Kiser, Brandon, FL, Cindy Kiser, Conyers, GA, Bobby Wayne (Ellie) Kiser, Collingswood, NJ and Fran Kiser, Beckley, WV, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and special family, Sarah Branam, Dennis Littell, Chad Littell, Diana Littell and Connie Muia. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert W. Branam who died in 1959, her second husband whom she was married to for 48 years until his death in 2009, Judge Noble K. Littell, children, Timothy Branam, Robert E. Branam, Douglas Littell and Chere Littell Toney; and brother, Jimmy Kiser. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 7, 2015, 3:00pm, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Sebring and a funeral service on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, IN. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and funeral service will begin at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Walters Cemetery, Eminence, IN.
