Sandra Lee Laufer

Sandra "Sandi" Lee Laufer, age 80, of Sebring, Florida, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication.

Born on August 22, 1945, to the late Sylvester George Hlavac and Irene Szczepaniak in De Forest, Wisconsin, Sandi was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church of Sebring for 20 years, serving as the Worship and Praise leader, where her spirit and music inspired countless others.

Sandi's professional career was marked by her dedication and commitment, first at International Harvester (Navistar) for 23 years, and later at Wachovia (Wells-Fargo) for 19 years. Her colleagues and friends will remember her warm smile and generous spirit.

Sandi's true passion, however, was volunteering. She gave selflessly of her time to Friends of the Library for 15 years and the Advent gift shop for 18 years, touching the lives of many in her community.

Sandi is survived by her brother Gary Hlavac (Rita), nephews; David Hlavac (Susan), Christopher Hlavac (Kelly), and their daughters Samantha & Jasper. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
