Sandra Lea Benchina

Sandra Lea Benchina went to be with her Lord on June 27, 2024, in Sebring Florida. Sandra was born on October 25, 1958, in Lake Wales, Florida to her parents Arlie Richards and Ruth (Mimbs).  Sandra was a lifelong resident of Polk and Highlands County, retiring from her position as a service representative at the United States Post Office in Avon Park in 2022.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Arlie “Skip” Richards and Grady Richards. She is survived by Husband Frank Benchina, sons; Josh King (Melissa), Jason King (Brittany), stepdaughters; Melanie Benchina and Amanda Benchina, brothers; Greg Richards and John Richards, sister; Paula Richards Anderson, and her eleven grandchildren; Jaret, Jace, Brooke, JD, Brylee, Savannah, Jaelynn, Janalyse, Jericka, Jordan, and Jaedyn.

Sandra touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
