Sebring

Sam Wallace Sanders, 68, of Sebring, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

Sam is survived by his loving wife Karen Sheffield Sanders of Sebring; his sister, Susan Sanders of Atlanta, GA; Stepdaughter, Stephanie Hart Hargis (Nate) of Lexington, KY; and grandsons, Landon Hargis, Cohen Hargis, Bennett Hargis, and Everett Hargis of Lexington, KY.  San was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wallace Sanders.

Sam proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1975 to 1979.  He worked later in life as a Licensed Real Estate in Lexington, KY. He volunteered his time as a part of the Church Media Team for Highlands Community Church (Sebring) and later at Immanuel Baptist Church (Lexington).  Sam was passionate about computers and electronics.  He volunteered at TLC Therapy Hooves (now known as LaLa Land) bringing comfort to those battling difficult times.

Memorial Services will be held on September 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Bible Fellowship Church located 3750 Hammock Rd, Sebring, FL. Visitation will begin prior to service at 12:00 PM.
