Sally Miller, born on January 29, 1948, in Ayer, Massachusetts, peacefully passed away on August 14, 2024, in Lake Wales, Florida, at the age of 76. Sally was the beloved daughter of the late Ronald and Elnora Ward. A resident of Sebring, Florida, since 2010, Sally moved there from Madison, Maine, where she had spent many cherished years.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Clifford P. Miller, her two children, Bobbi Jean McCarthy (Alexie) of Rome, ME, and Travis C. Miller of Scappoose, OR. Sally was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren and a joyful great-grandmother to eight. She is also survived by her sisters, Deanna Curtis (Philip) of Madison, ME, and Linda Billing (Ken) of Haines City, FL.
A woman of deep faith, Sally was an active member of the Grace Bible Church of Highlands County, where she found immense joy and comfort in bible study and fellowship. Her life was a testament to her strong beliefs, and she truly exemplified what it meant to be a woman of God.
Sally was a warm and nurturing presence in the lives of those who knew her. She was an avid reader, a lover of photography, and enjoyed spending time on the golf course. She had a passion for socializing, whether it was through gatherings with friends or dining out, and she was known for her easy-going and happy nature. Above all, she loved being a mother and grandmother, roles in which she found great fulfillment and joy.
Sally's memory will be honored at a later date with services in Madison, Maine. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Grace Bible Church's Student Ministry, a cause close to Sally's heart, supporting the children she held so dear.
Sally will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her kind and generous spirit, and the love she gave to her family and friends. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
