Sahel Vargas

On January 21st, 2024, Sahel Vargas passed away unexpectedly in his Sebring residence at the age of 49. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on November 1st, 1974, to Enid Rodriguez and Jose Vargas. Sahel moved from Lakewood, New Jersey, to Sebring, Florida, where he married his Queen, Melanie, 17 years ago. For nearly two decades, they enjoyed a happy marriage through thick and thin.

Sahel was preceded in death by his father, Jose Antonio Vargas. He is survived by his mother, Enid Villasenor; his wife, Melanie Vargas; his children, Jonah (21) and Adilen (14) Vargas; his siblings Dianik Chesney (Travis) of New Jersey, Karen Holguin (Felix) of New Jersey, Rosa Villasenor of New Jersey, and Noel Soto of Orlando, FL; his father-in-law Carmelo Pineiro, mother-in-law Zenaida Pineiro, and sister-in-law Melissa Baker of Sebring, FL.

Sahel was a true devotee of the Eagles and a Criptid Enthusiast, driven by his insatiable curiosity for the world around him. He was guided by his Christian faith and worked hard to provide for his family as a Pit Master at Sonny's BBQ. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father with unwavering devotion to his family.
