Ruth J. Wertenberg

Ruth J. Wertenberg, 91, of Sebring, FL passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born in Milwaukee, WI to parents Anton and Dorothy Havlik in 1921, Ruth wed James Wertenberg in 1942. Retiring in 1986 from AT&T as an Analyst/Corporate Services in Milwaukee, she and husband James became residents of Sebring. Ruth was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Golf Hammock Country Club and Emmanuel United Church of Christ. A loving mother, Ruth is survived by her daughter Joann (William) Powell; brother William (Patricia) Havlik; nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Her husband James and daughter Lynn preceded her to Heaven. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
