Ruth V. Robertson

RUTH V. ROBERTSON Ruth V. Robertson, 87, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, November 20, 2009, in Lake Placid, Florida. She was born March 1, 1922, to George and Nora (Marquart) Rohauer in Buffalo, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1980, coming from Williamsville, New York. She was a homemaker and in the early days of NASCAR was a scorer in Upstate New York. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and spending time with her friends and family and was of the Protestant faith. Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her Husband of 50 years, Howard Robertson, Sr., and is survived by her Son, Howard Robertson, Jr., of Sebring; Sister, Shirley Hoag, of Estes Park, Colorado and several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services and interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, Florida. Friends will be received the hour preceding the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to thank Lake Placid Health Care Center and Florida Hospital Lake Placid for the excellent care given to Mrs. Robertson.
