Ruth A. Linnean

Ruth A. Linnean, age 92, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on August 10, 1923 in Newbury Port, Massachusetts to the late Ralph K. and Florence (Grey) Flanders.  A veteran serving with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, she was spent her career as a nurse.  Ruth moved to Sebring 1997 from Ohio and was a member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together.  Survivors include one sister, Marcia Flanders and three nieces, Bevery Dye; Barbara Kelly and Judy Haney. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd L. Linnean and her sister, Barbara McMillan. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
