Ruth Wheeler Hill

Ruth Wheeler Hill, 94, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born January 27, 1930 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Charles E. and Aserlee (Mimms) Lillie.  She had been a resident since 2000 coming from Chicago, IL, was an educator, and a member of Faith Temple Church of God & Christ.  She was a member of the Highlands County Democratic Women’s Club, worked for the Democratic Party, and DORCAS: Outreach Ministry.  Ruth loved serving the Lord and her children.  Ruth is survived by her Daughters – Davette Thompson of Sebring, FL; Vera Hill of IN; Ashley Hill (Andrea) of IL; and seven Grandchildren.  Burial will take place in Mount Glenwood Memory Gardens South in Glenwood, IL.
