Ruth H. Gettel

age 91, passed away on December 25, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on December 2, 1923 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Leo C. and Jennie (Wert) Gieger. Ruth had been a resident of Sebring since 1983 coming from North Miami Beach, Florida. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her friends. Ruth is survived by her sons: Richard Hinshaw (Teresa) -Gulfport, MS; Randy Gettel-Orlando, FL, and her daughter: Stacie Sparks (Gerry)-Englewood, FL, six grandchildren: Shawn Ross (Matt); Abigail Hinshaw; Mystique; Dominic (Jessica); Jacob and Lucas Sparks and two great-grandchildren: Dakota and Kyson Ross. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 3, 2015, 2:00pm, at The Palms of Sebring with Reverend Jim Baker officiating.
