Ruth Mount Garry

Ruth Mount Garry, age 91, left us on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 to decorate heaven. She was born on January 11, 1931 in Trenton, New Jersey to Harold C. and Marjorie C ( Totten ) Mount. Ruthie grew up and lived most of her life in Hightstown, NJ before moving to Sebring, FL in 1987.  She graduated from Hightstown High School and Lasell Jr. College. She was a homemaker and former owner of an Antique shop in N.J. She was a “fixer upper”, had a passion for interior design, loved antiques, golf, dancing, gardening, the beach, and most of all, visiting with her family. Ruthie was a member of the Sebring Golf Association. She is survived by her loving daughters, Cindy Schickler (Mike), of Leland, NC, Christy Ivins of Sebring, FL, Dorie Tallman (Wayne) of Morrisville, PA, Hallie Custer (Tim ) of Virginia Beach, and sister, Betty Lane of Venice, FL. Surviving are also 5 grandchildren, Casey, Christopher, Samantha, Jeffrey and Caitlyn, and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband’s Merwin Ivins and Ray Garry.
