Russell James Neatrour

Russell James Neatrour, age 100, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on October 18, 1922 in Johnstown, PA to Frank J. Neatrour and Sadie M. Helman. He worked as a machinist in the HVAC industry, was a member of First United Methodist Church, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 1982, having come from Thomasville, PA. Russell proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and belonged to the 2nd Air Division 8th Air Force. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and was very creative. Russell is survived by his daughters - Kathleen Leicht and Linda Jones, both of Sebring, FL; sister - Melva K. Guzako of Boswell, PA; 3 grandchildren - James “Jim” Leicht (Michelle) of Sebring, FL, Michael “Mike” A. Leicht of Milton, FL, and Nicholas "Nick" Jones of Highlands County; and several great grandchildren that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife - Marguerite (Montgomery) Neatrour; and second wife - Nona Allen. Interment at Bushnell National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
