RUSSELL S. GARDNER, JR. Russell S. Gardner, Jr., age 89, of Sebring, FL passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011. He was born January 4, 1922 in Asbury Park, NJ to Russell S. and Florence (Clayton) Gardner. He was a Claims Manager in the Insurance industry working for the Boston Old Colony Insurance Company, the Firemans Fund Insurance Company, and also owned and operated an Insurance Adjustment Company. Russell was a member of the St. John United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WW II, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 2002, coming from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Vivian Gardner of Sebring, FL; Son Russell S. Gardner, III (Neville) of Sherwood Forest, MD; Daughter Lynne Hood (Roger) of Sebring, FL; 4 Grandchildren Dawn, Brandon, Jeffrey, and Jennifer; 5 Great Grandchildren Austin, Ashlyn, Jace, Tyler, and Whitaker. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Degenaro officiating.
