Ruby E. Smith

Ruby E. Smith, age 78, passed away April 24, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. She was born June 6, 1938 in Ballard County, Kentucky to the late James and Zula (Crews) Norment. A Baptist by faith, Ruby moved to Sebring in 1969 and worked for the Sebring Post Office for 25 years as a Rural Carrier. Survivors include her children: Rhonda (Jim) Gross-Lake Placid, Robin Clickner-Sebring, Kellie Brister-Barlow, KY, Christopher Collier-Wauchula; grandchildren: Terry Bartlett-Sebring, Toni Rice (Curtis) DeBoni-Camarillo, CA, Rachel Bartlett (Gregson) Bozzella-Selkirk, NY, Cassie Bellamy-Gage, KY, Christi (Trevor) Hines-Dallas, GA, Ashley (Jordan) Todd-Arlington, KY, Morgan Collier-Sebring, Macy Collier-Dallas, GA, Kendra McCain-Arlington, KY; twelve great-grandchildren; brother: James T. Norment-Ledbetter, KY and sister: Laverne Potts-Newnan, GA. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: James "Dick" Smith and two sisters. At her request there will be no service. The family would like to thank Cornerstone Hospice for their care and Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
