Ruby Marie Farthing

Ruby Marie Farthing, age 80 passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Oyster, Virginia to George Lee and Aline (Marshall) Parker. Mrs. Farthing was a Homemaker, member of the First Christine Church in Avon Park and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1986 coming from Angola, New York. She is survived by her children-Dot Cilono of West Seneca, New York, Rita Sparacio (Wes) of Angola, New York and George Farthing of Avon Park, Florida; sister-Elsie Moore of Capeville, Virginia; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Farthing was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years-Wayne Farthing, a son-Bud Farthing and a daughter-Aline Wilson. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park with Rev. Mike Adams officiating.
