Roy Peter Kryscuk, Sr.

Roy Peter Kryscuk, Sr. age 85, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born on April 29, 1940 in Queens, New York to the late Peter Paul and Blanche (Wygand) Kryscuk.  He had been a Florida resident since 1973 and was of Catholic faith.  Roy was a faith filled man who lived his life taking care of everyone.  A proud American who loved his country, while serving in the US Army he received many sharp shooting medals.  He owned American Auto body paint and repair, and then was owner of Roy’s RV Center.  He had a funny sense of humor, with a no-nonsense work ethic.  He was always in control of everything, and he was the boss.  Roy had a fierce love for his family and was always interested and proud of any accomplishments they made.  Anytime anything needed to be done, he was there, you knew you could always count on him.  He will be missed, but we have lots of memories of the wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother and Uncle that he was known as.  Roy is survived by his Wife of 65 years Clare Kryscuk; Daughter – Sue Dean (Danny Hammock); Son – Roy Kryscuk, Jr. (Beth); Grandchildren – Adam Dean (Kayla); Angie Brock (Justin); Andrew Dean (Candace); Abigail Clayton (Seth); Brandon Kryscuk; Josh Kryscuk (Allie); Great-Grandchildren – McKenna Dean; Jeb Dean; Annabelle Brock; Savannah Brock; Wyatt Dean; Waylon Dean; Noah Dean; Keaton Kryscuk; Malachi Kryscuk; Melynnie Kryscuk; Aurora Kryscuk; Ansley Clayton; Liam Clayton.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 3:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.  The family asks you to wear red, white, and blue colors to honor Roy.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors, Sportsman Fund, PO Box 2251, Bartow, FL  33831.
