After his military service, Roy pursued a degree in Business Administration from Finlandia University and relocated to the Detroit area.  He enjoyed a long and engaging career within several divisions of General Motors Corporation, including Argonaut Realty and Chevrolet Finance.

Roy enjoyed fishing, the local Palm Diner, cookies, and all manner of sporting activities.  He especially loved ice hockey and golf, and closely followed the local Florida teams.

Roy's family and friends will remember him as a gentle soul with a heart of gold, a man who always put others first and approached life with unwavering positivity and humor. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
