Roy J Goodall, Jr.

Roy J Goodall, Jr. 73, of Sebring passed away on November 5th surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago Heights, IL, and formerly of Dolton and Crete, IL, Roy and family relocated to Florida in 1985.

He leaves behind his dedicated wife, Janice Goodall, three children Kelly Adams (Chuck) of Auburndale FL, Kristi Inabnett (J.R.) of Sebring, and Jeffrey of Sarasota.  Poppie took great pride in being a grandfather to Gregory, Tyler, Andrew, Christian, Jesse, Evan, and Creadance and a great-grandpa to Olivia, Allyson, Hazel, and Karma. Roy also leaves behind siblings Pam Deloney of Duluth, MN, Dale Broze (Alma) of Laredo TX, Marian (Tom) Karas, Greg (Carrie) Goodall, Kitty (Mark) Langham, all of Sebring, Mark (Diana) Goodall of Antioch, CA, and Julie Struven (Dale) of Sebring. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Goodall, Sr. and Marian Batey Goodall.

Roy was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, and a Master RV Technician by trade. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed traveling, metal detecting, and attending functions to support his grandkids.

A Memorial Service will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26th at 12:30 p.m. The family invites friends to the Visitation that starts at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service  Roy’s final resting place will be the Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post #25 Lake Placid FL notating Roy Goodall
