Rosemary Stowers

Rosemary Stowers, age 72, of Sebring, FL, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018.  She was born September 7, 1945 in Johnstown, PA to James J. and Naomi Ruth (Gore) Jerkes.  She worked as a Nurse, was a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 1990, coming from PA.  Survivors include her Husband – Samuel Wayne Stowers of Sebring, FL; Son – Brian Wayne Stowers (Ellen) of Tullahoma, TN; Daughter – Yvette Kathleen Haralson (David) of Sebring, FL; Sisters – Barbara Hopkins; Eileen R. Stahl; Grandchildren – Brianna Leigh Stowers; Wayne Alexander Stowers; Samantha Ashle-Rose Haralson; and Brittiny Maree-Nicole Haralson.  She is preceded in death by her Parents and Brothers – Donald E. Jerkes; James J. Jerkes.  Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Lambert and Pastor Sam Vaughn officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 1708 LaGrange Avenue, Sebring, FL 33870.
