ROSE MARIE SOUZA Rose Marie Souza, 96, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 in Sebring. She was born April 2, 1914, to Ferdinando and Nicolina (Niclerio) Morrone in New York City, New York, and had recently moved to Sebring from Marrero, Louisiana. She was a Seamstress and worked for over 44 years in the garment and textile industry in the Garment District of New York. She was of the Catholic faith; a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul; recipient of the Volunteer of the Year from the Diocese of New Orleans and was an active volunteer with many other community organizations. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Morrone Rizzo, N. Babylon, NY and Ann Morrone DeSalvo, Marrero, LA and brother, Ray Morrone of Sebring.
