Rose (Rosie to some) was a loving daughter, sister, mother, Grammy, and great-Grammy. For most of her life, she was surrounded by the military, and her mission was to support those separated from their families. Her home was their home. She knew no strangers—everyone was family.
Rose’s only guilty pleasures were the occasional scratch-off ticket and the rare trip to a casino to shake hands with a one-armed bandit. She will always be remembered for slipping a couple of dollars to her grandchildren with a mischievous, “Shh, don’t tell your mother.”
Rose would want everyone to keep laughing, keep living, and keep taking care of one another.
