ROSIE VIVIAN ROSE ELLEN CANNAN Rosie Vivian Rose Ellen Cannan, age 87, of Sebring, Florida passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on October 25, 1924 in Culver, Indiana to Harley and Ruth Mahler. Rosie graduated from Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Indiana in 1942. She married Ernie Ernest Cannan on November 11, 1945 in Plymouth, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernie, and two children Dwight and Diane. Rosie is survived by her sons Doug and Linda Cannan of Brandon, Florida; Dennis and Marie Cannan of Plymouth, Indiana; Sister Jean Rechtenbaugh of Plymouth, Indiana; 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida. Memorial Contributions may be made to a local Hospice chapter.
