Rosamond Ruth Cothran

Rosamond Ruth Cothran, age 96, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. Mrs. Cothran was born in Independence, Virginia to Miles Robert and Verna (Ward) Pinion. She was a Homemaker, of the Christian faith and had been a resident of Highlands County since 1937 coming from Independence, Virginia. She is survived by her son-Robert E. Cothran of Madison, Alabama; daughters-Sharon Maughn of Sebring, Florida, Marilyn Cooper of Sebring, Florida and Carmen Selander (Gary) of Sebring, Florida; sister-Gladys Mass of Winston Salem, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband-Carleton E. Cothran; sons-Joseph Curtis and Roy Cothran and a daughter-Sandra Reed. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Bougainvillea Cemetery with Rev. W. Mike Adams officiating.
