Rosa Maria Zerilli

Rosa Maria Zerilli, born April 3, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Antonio and Frances (Mangiapani) Bartolotta. Rosa married Joseph J. Zerilli on July 27, 1946. Together they had 5 daughters. Rosa passed away on August 18, 2016. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Grace Pratt (Bruce), Catherine Zerilli (Marti), Sally Johnson (Tony File), Phyllis Blasser (Mike). She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1985 and her daughter Frances Boris in 2005. Rosa had 18 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. She loved to knit and crochet, gardening, cooking and baking. When asked how she was you could always count on "Fat and sassy" as a reply. She had a great sense of humor and was loved by many. She will be forever missed. There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, September 10, 2016, 10:00 am, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park.
