Ronnie E. Taylor, a 22-year resident of Sebring, Florida passed away on April 5, 2023 at home with his grandson Joseph, daughter Tiffany and in his wife’s arms. Ronnie was born in Nashville, Georgia on April 21, 1948 to the late Emory Taylor and the late Marie R. Holbrook; he was also preceded in death by his sister Sandra Taylor Loveless. Ronnie moved to California, before moving to Lake Worth, Florida where he attended high school and college. Ronnie was drafted in 1968, and deployed to Viet Nam, he was a combat veteran on the frontline. As a sergeant E-5 track commander he was wounded but continued his tour with honors and was home March 31.1970. He was a member of many organizations’ VFW, DAV, VN Veterans of America, AM Vets, American Legion, he loved his country. Ronnie loved family, traveling, music, hunting, and his service dog Summer. He traveled the USA & lived in Alaska for many years, also in Michigan. His love for life and family were inspiring & full of surprises. He was strong, intelligent, and full of love my husband. He was the most wonderful, loving, caring husband & most of all we were best friends, we confided in each other about everything he is loved and missed every second. Ronnie is survived by his wife Travis Taylor; brother and sister-in-law Johnny & Toni Holbrook; sister Brenda Butler; son Joshua Taylor; daughters Tiffany, Stephany; grandson and confidant – Ronnie’s Aid Joseph; grandson’s Kenneth, Michael, Brody and Eli; granddaughters Aria, Aaliyah, Shyanne, Katrina, Josalynn and Zoey; great-great grandchildren Zoe, Layla, Ma’liyah, A’miya and many nieces and nephews. He will always be in our hearts, and our memories of him will last forever.
Services and burial will be held in Boca Raton Cemetery May 5, 2023 at 11:00 am.
