Ronald Frederick Smith

Ronald Frederick Smith, age 96, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024.  He was born October 8, 1927 in Somerville, MA to Ronald B. and Alice H. (Larsen) Smith.  Pastor Ron was a Baptist pastor for over 60 years in Canada, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Michigan, and Florida.  He is survived by his Sons – Pastor Gregory A. Smith (Twila) of Parsons, WV; Pastor Brent L. Smith (Bettye) of Davenport, FL; Brother – Ray Smith (Sharon) of New Brunswick, Canada; 7 Grandchildren; and 11 Great Grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his Wife – Flo Smith and Son – Steve Smith.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with family receiving friends beginning at 12 noon.  Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, www.gideons.org
