Ronald "Ron" Richard Rahl

Ronald “Pete” R. Rahl passed away peacefully in Sebring, Florida, on Sept. 1, 2026. He was born on March 25, 1935, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Michael E. Rahl and Emma E. (Edenbo) Rahl.

Pete was preceded in death by his seven siblings, and his wife of over 69 years, Geraldine Rahl. He is survived by his children, Ronald R. Rahl (Shelia) of Avon Park, Florida, Gary A. Rahl (Joan) of Sarasota, Florida, and Debra L. Byers (Bruce) of Brighton, Michigan. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Jessica Williams (Jason), and a great-granddaughter, Gracie Williams, of Brighton, Michigan. He leaves behind many friends who will remember him and mourn his passing.

Above all else, Pete’s family was always the most important part of his life. He cherished the time he spent with his loved ones and will be remembered for the special place he held in their hearts.

Pete graduated from Greensburg-Salem High School in 1953 and was retired from Overmyer Mould in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and Ross Mould in Washington, Pennsylvania. He was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan and looked forward to every season. After moving to Crystal Lake Club in Avon Park, he took up golf and enjoyed spending time on the course. He liked to travel and appreciated the opportunity to see new places and make lasting memories.

Though he will be greatly missed, Pete’s memory will live on through his family and friends. A private graveside service will be held for Ronald at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida.
