Ronald L. Lipscomb, age 58, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born September 15, 1958 in Avon Park, Florida. Being a lifelong resident of Highlands County and a Baptist by faith, Ronald enjoyed golfing, listening to music and playing horseshoes. Survivors include his wife: Sharon Lipscomb; his mother: Dorothy Bowen; his children: Ronald L. Lipscomb, Jr. (Amy) of Madison, FL, Daniel Tucker (Megan) of Sebring, FL, Jennifer Bumgarner (Jimmy Scarpelli) of North Myrtle Beach, SC; his siblings: Jimmy Lipscomb (Linda), Johnnie Lipscomb (Cora), Pamela Spinuzzi, Linda-Sue Walker; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his father: William Roy Lipscomb and his step-father, Brad Bowen, Sr. There will be a memorial service on Friday, September 30, 2016, 3:00 pm, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with W. Mike Adams officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project www.uso.org/donate
