Ronald Allan Langell

Ronald Allan Langell, age 76, passed away on Thursday March 19, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on September 5, 1938 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan to the late Allen and Albertina (Jolin) Langell. Ron served first in the United States Navy, and then in the United States Coast Guard, with his final duty station being in Frankford, MI. He finished his career with Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI as a mechanic, retiring in 1998. Ron and Lorraine moved to Sebring in 2003 from Michigan. Ron was a self-educated engineer with exceptional mechanical, electrical, and fine woodworking skills. He enjoyed model ship building and playing golf. Ron is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lorraine; children: Dean Langell (Joanne) of Brownstown, MI; Jim Langell of Destin, FL; Steve Langell (Catherine) of Atlanta, GA; and two grandchildren: Olivia and Adams Langell, daughter and son of Steve and Catherine; brother Dean Jolin Langell (Loretta) of Eastpointe, MI; and sisters Carol Joly (Gerald) of Chesterfield, MI and Jennie Sue Merkle (Roger) of Howell, MI. The family is having a private service.
