Ronald Louis Klausen

Ronald L. "Ron" Klausen, 59 of Sebring, died Wednesday, March 11 at Tampa General Hospital. A Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, March 18th from noon until 3 PM at 2520 Sunset Drive, Sebring, FL 33870. Ronald was born on November 3, 1955 in Amboy, Illinois. Ronald graduated from UW Platteville in 1977. Ronald was the Administrator of Mapleside Manor Nursing Home in Amboy for 16 years prior to moving to Florida in July 1998 to enjoy the Sunshine State. Ronald was a tax professional with the distinction of Master Tax Advisor Enrolled Agent while working with H&R Block in Sebring. Ronald was very surprised and honored to receive the national Henry W. Block Excellence in Client Service Award this past July 24, 2014 in Kansas City. Working was always Ronald's passion, however equally he loved to spend time at any Disney Park, Epcot was his personal favorite but he equally enjoyed being the "Park Advisor" for family and friends especially his many younger nieces and nephews. Ronald maintained his Illinois roots by being an avid Chicago sports fan. Ronald leaves a memorable impression on all the many lives he touched. Survivors include brothers: David Klausen, Sebring, John (Janice) Klausen, Amboy, IL, Jason, Alison, Keri, Dalton, Noah, Caden Wittenauer of Amboy, IL; Jeramey, Theresa, Westin and Jaron Wittenauer of Amboy, IL; Joshua, Heather, Margaret, David, Joe Wittenauer of Dixon, IL; Jessica, Jersey Wittenauer of Amboy, IL and an Uncle Anker Klausen of Lee Center, IL.
