Ronald “Ronnie” F. Bennett, born on April 1, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on May 17, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. He has been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 1999, coming from Tunnel Hill, Georgia. Ronnie was survived by his loving children Olivia Mulkey (spouse William Mulkey) of Sebring, Florida, and Sandra Goodman (spouse William Goodman) of Lakeland, Florida. He was also survived by his dear brothers Thomas “Renny” Bennett and Michael Bennett, as well as two cherished grandchildren. He is preceded into eternal peace by his parents, Freeman and Jane Bennet and his beloved wife of over 50 years, Wilma Bennett.
Throughout his life, Ronnie worked as a farmer, truck driver, and patio manager showcasing his strong work ethic. In his spare time, he found joy in wood working, always finding solace and creativity in crafting with his hands. He was a proud member of the Catholic community; Ronnie's faith was an integral part of his life. He served in the Army Reserves, demonstrating his patriotism and dedication to his country. His organized nature and willingness to help others made him a cherished friend and family member to many.
He was a man of integrity and sincerity, leaving a lasting impact on all who that knew him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who mourn his loss. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to the American Heart Association.
